Description
No. 76 on Main Street in Haworth is a mid-19th century building that originally comprised two back-to-back cottages, which have now been converted into a single dwelling with a shop. The structure is made of coursed millstone grit and features a stone slate roof. It stands three storeys tall and has one window on the first floor. The entrance door, which has an overlight, is set in a plain stone surround, with a large shop window to the right.
On the first and second floors, there is a two-light, flat-faced mullion window, and all windows have plain surrounds with projecting cills. The building has plain gutter brackets on the tabling and an end stack on the right side. At the rear, there is a step leading to a 20th-century stable door in a plain stone surround, with a two-light window (similar to the front) on the left and a three-light window above. On the second floor, there is a blocked taking-in door to the right and a two-light window to the left.
