Description

No 70 on Main Street in Haworth is a house with a shop, dating from the early to mid 19th century. It is constructed of coursed millstone grit and has a stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and features one first-floor window. To the right, there are two steps leading to a 20th-century door with an overlight, set in a heightened plain stone surround. On the left side, there is a large shop window with a 20th-century bow. Above this, a three-light flat-faced mullion window is present, with all windows framed in plain stone surrounds and featuring projecting cills. The building has plain gutter brackets on the tabling and two end stacks on the left, one of which has been renewed in brick.
