Description
Cook Gate Farmhouse is a farmhouse built in the late 17th century with later additions. It is constructed from coursed millstone grit and features a stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and one bay, with quoins on the right side. It includes double-chamfered mullion windows. To the left, there are three steps leading up to a panelled door set in a quoined surround with a deep lintel. The window on the right was originally a four-light window, while the first-floor window was originally a six-light window. The farmhouse also has shaped gutter brackets, a shaped kneeler, and ashlar coping on the right side. A rear wing and a single-storey extension were added later.
