Description

This barn, located 15 meters north-east of Eastburn House, dates back to 1773 and features coursed rubble construction with dressed quoins and a stone slate roof. The barn is marked with the initials "WM" and includes a segmental-arched cart entry that has a niche above it with a date plaque. Inside, there is a porch with a doorway that has composite jambs and a chamfered surround leading to the mistal, positioned within the right re-entrant angle. The barn has coped gables with kneelers, and the right gable is topped with a decorative weathervane. This structure is included for its group value.
