Small cul-de-sac close, on the south side of Thornton Road and forming in part one side of Priestly Street, Nos 2 and 4 of the latter back to back with the Square's south-west corner. Dated 1832. Two-storey sandstone "brick" cottages increasing to 3-storeys on south front and with slightly more formal 3 bay fronts to Thornton Road (Nos 377 and 379). Stone slate roofs, hipped over Thornton Road fronts. Corniced chimneys. Stone eaves have spaced dentil brackets. Single and 2 light square mullion windows in squared surrounds. Squared jamb doorways. Nos 377 and 379 Thornton Road have 3 bay fronts with console corniced doorways similar to and balancing Nos 381 and 383.
