Description

Nos 160 to 168 on Thornton Old Road are a row of two-storey cottages built around 1820, constructed from sandstone with a brick appearance. They feature stone slate roofs and corniced chimneys. The eaves are supported by spaced dentil brackets. The windows are square and have two or three lights with mullions. The front of No 162 has been altered and is painted. The doorways have squared jambs. This row of cottages is included for its group value.
