Description
Numbers 8 and 10 Grange Fold is a mid to late 17th century farmhouse that was originally part of a larger structure with No 12. The building is two stories high and constructed of coursed gritstone, topped with a stone slate roof featuring a saddlestone. There is a weathered string course above the ground floor. The first floor has five single light windows with squared surrounds from the early 19th century, while the ground floor features a two-light square mullion window and a small original window with a splayed reveal at No 10. The doorway has chamfered jambs. The rear elevation mirrors the front, with six first floor windows and a two-light window on the ground floor, along with squared jamb doorways.
