Description
The Lodge to Chellow Dean, built around 1880-1890, serves as the entrance to the reservoir grounds and the Dean for the Bradford Water Board. It features a cross plan and is a single storey with an attic. The building has steeply pitched gable end roofs adorned with scalloped barge-boards, reflecting the Picturesque style. The east and west gable ends have windows with diamond paneling on the friezes beneath weathered copings. Additionally, there are two-light mullioned-transomed casements. A lean-to verandah porch supported by clustered cast iron shafts enhances the entrance.
