Description

House, dated 1746. Constructed of hammer-dressed stone rubble to the rear with a stone slate roof. It is a two-storey, double-depth house with a two-room front. The building has quoins. The doorway features monolithic jambs and a date stone above. Windows on both floors are flanked by plain stone surrounds, with altered glazing. Paired gutter brackets are present. An external stack, reduced in height, is located to the left. Gables are coped with kneelers and a stack, along with another stack to the ridge. At the rear, there are two two-light, flat-faced mullioned windows, the mullion slightly recessed, either side of a rectangular stair window with a chamfered surround. The first floor has a two-light chamfered window, and a two-light double-chamfered window, both lacking mullions.
