Craft block. Dated 1899. Rockfaced stone with ashlar dressings and hipped slate roofs with 2 external coped side wall stacks. Renaissance Revival style. Plinth, first floor sill band, eaves cornice. 2 storeys: 10 windows, arranged 4:2:4. Ground floor has regular fenestration. First floor has a central bay flanked by rusticated pilasters with 2 larger round arched windows with stone cross mullions, under a shaped gable with inscribed datestone and ball finials. Ground floor windows have flat heads and stone cross mullions; first floor windows have rusticated segmental heads with keystones, and wooden cross-mullions. Left return has 2 flat headed transomed windows, and above, 2 round arched windows. Right return has similar fenestration, with single first floor windows. At the rear, a square projection, 2 storeys, with elaborate shaped parapet and shouldered central gable. Symmetrical front, 6 windows, with alternating larger and smaller central windows on each floor. To right, blank. To left, window with inserted door, and similar window above. Beyond, 4 larger windows on each floor, with wooden cross mullions.

INTERIOR: Stone dogleg stair with glazed brick dado. Classrooms have matchboard dadoes and exposed steel cross beams. Some C20 partitions.
