Description
No. 253 Pitsmoor Road is a house, now used as an office, built around 1825, with some alterations made in the late 20th century. The building is constructed of ashlar and features a hipped slate roof with four brick ridge stacks. It has a plinth, first floor and sill bands, moulded eaves, and a blocking course. The house is two storeys high and has a three-window range with a square plan. The façade includes three 12-pane sash windows, and below these is a central Doric portico with a 20th-century door, flanked by two larger 12-pane sashes. The left side of the building has a central round-headed stair window, also flanked by single 12-pane sashes. The central door has been altered in the 20th century and is flanked by larger 12-pane sashes. The interior has not been inspected.
