Description
249 and 251 Pitsmoor Road are two houses, now used as offices, built around 1825 with alterations in the mid 19th century and 20th century. The buildings are constructed of ashlar and brick, topped with hipped slate roofs. They feature a plinth, a first floor band, and moulded eaves. The houses form a symmetrical pair, each with a slightly projecting center. They are two storeys tall and have a total of ten window openings with plain sash windows. Each house has a painted stone Greek Doric portico, flanked by two tall wooden cross casements. The 20th-century half-glazed doors have overlights. Inside No. 251, on the right, there is a cantilevered open well wooden staircase with iron stick balusters.
