Description

The building is a toll house, now used as a house, along with attached boundary walls. It dates from the early 19th century and is constructed of ashlar stone. The roof is hipped and gabled, covered with slate, and features two coped stone ridge stacks. The eaves are deep with moulded wooden gutters, and there are pilasters on the main part of the house. The structure is single storey and has a cross plan.

The windows are shouldered glazing bar casements. The front has a canted projection with a shouldered doorcase that contains a 20th-century door, flanked by two single 2-light casement windows. On the left side of the projection, there is a similar 2-light window. To the left of this, there is a wrought-iron railing with a chamfered stone plinth, approximately 30 meters long.

On the left side of the building, there is a projecting gable on the right with a 2-light window, and to the left, there is a similar window. The right side features a single window in the gable and a 2-light window to the right. Beyond this, there is a slab coped boundary wall, approximately 10 meters long, which includes a close boarded door. The interior has not been inspected.
