Description
The entrance gateway, located approximately 70 meters west of Mosborough Hall, dates from around 1840 and serves as an ancillary structure to the hall. It features a pair of square, panelled ashlar gate piers that have stepped chamfered caps. These piers are flanked by serpentine ashlar walls with slab coping, which lead to square end piers topped with square domed caps. The gateway includes a wrought-iron five-barred gate that has an arch brace and an elaborate latch.
