MALTBY TICKHILL ROAD SK59SW (south side) 3/74 Milepost approximately 50 metres west of entrance to Maltby Colliery II Milepost. Late C19. Maker: Brayshaw and Booth, Liversedge. Cast iron, fixed on gritstone pillar. Angled sides and sloping top plate beneath round- headed panel. Raised lettering reads:

On upper panel: BAWTRY & TINSLEY / ROAD / MALTBY

On left side: SHEFFIELD / 14 MILES / TINSLEY / 10 MILES / ROTHERHAM / 7 3/4 MILES
