Milepost. second half C19. Maker: Brayshaw and Booth, Liversedge. Cast-iron, fixed on gritstone pillar. Angled sides and sloping top plate beneath round-headed panel. Raised lettering reads:

On upper panel: BAWTRY & TINSLEY / ROAD / BRINSWORTH

On left side: BARNBY / MOOR / 18 1/4 MILES / BAWTRY / 16 MILES

On right side: SHEFFIELD / 5 MILES / TINSLEY / 1 MILE
