Description

MALTBY HIGH STREET SK59SW (north side) 3/46 No 4, (Kingwood View) GV II House. Mid-late C18 with later addition. Coursed, squared limestone, renewed pantile roof. 3 storeys, 3 bays with 3/4-length parallel range to rear-right. Chamfered quoins. Central doorway has C20 door in raised ashlar surround with light chamfer. Flanking C20 casements with glazing bars in original openings with projecting sills and flat arches with keystones. 1st- floor band beneath 3 similar windows, the central window of 1 light. Shorter 2nd-floor windows, central window blind. Eaves cornice. Shaped kneelers and gable copings; truncated brick end stack on right.
