GV II

House. C18 and early C19. Deeply-coursed, squared limestone, pantile and graduated slate roofs. 2 storeys; 5-bay C18 house with 3-bay C19 addition to rear right facing right return, C20 addition in angle of plan. C18 part: large quoins. Added gabled porch to right of bay 3 has part-glazed door; another doorway to far left has, to its right, renewed casements with glazing bars of 3, 3 and 2 lights in square-faced surrounds apart from bay 3 which has architrave; 2 tall tripartite windows on right of porch. 1st floor: windows as ground- floor bay 3. Ashlar gable copings, 2 stone ridge stacks. Right return: taller early C19 house set back, has part-glazed door and traceried fanlight in ashlar doorcase with keyed archivolt beneath open pediment. All bays have sashes with glazing bars in square-faced surrounds with projecting sills. Ashlar end stack on right, ridge stack to left of door. Interior: C19 part has contemporary balustraded staircase.
