Description

3 Albion Place, Hall Cross Chambers is a house that has been converted into offices. It was built in the early 19th century and features stucco on a stone plinth with painted stone dressings and a slate roof. The building has three storeys and two bays.

There are three wide stone steps leading up to a six-panel door that is topped by a fanlight with radial glazing. The door and fanlight are flanked by glazed lights and are set within a wide pilastered doorcase that has a moulded cornice. To the right of the entrance, there are two 12-pane sash windows. Above, there is a continuous first-floor sill band with two full-height unequally hung 15-pane sashes that have panelled aprons. The second floor features two 12-pane sash windows. The ground and second floor windows have projecting sills, and all the windows below have wedge lintels that are incised into the stucco. A timber cornice runs along the top, and there is a brick stack at the right end and a similar rendered stack at the left end.
