Description
Riseholme Grange is a former house that has been converted into offices. It was built in the early 19th century, with a 20th-century addition at the rear. The building features lined stucco and a hipped slate roof, supported by two brick wall stacks. It is two stories high with a five-bay front, including an ashlar plinth, and the left bay is slightly recessed.
The entrance has an off-centre six-panelled door topped by a traceried fanlight, which is sheltered by a porch with double Doric pilasters and a plain entablature. To the right of the door is a glazing bar sash window, while to the left there is a glazing bar sash, a single casement window, and a painted dummy sash window. All ground floor openings are framed with moulded architraves.
On the first floor, there are four glazing bar sash windows and an additional painted window on the left. Inside, the stair hall features a swept stair with a wreathed handrail, straight balusters, and a carved string. There is a semi-circular arch between the entrance and the stair hall, and full cornices are present in the rooms.
