Description
The Farmhouse is a late 18th-century farmhouse with later additions, constructed of brick in Flemish bond and topped with pantile roofs. It stands three storeys high and features three bays, with a two-storey, two-bay wing set back on the right and a lower two-storey, two-bay addition of a later date beyond that.
The main house has a six-panel door with a margin-glazed overlight, located beneath a later porch supported by two fluted Doric columns and featuring a dentilled cornice. The outer bays and the first floor have projecting stone sills for the sash windows, which have glazing bars and are set in flush wooden architraves beneath flat brick arches. On the second floor, there are centre-pivoted, six-pane casements in matching surrounds. The roof is hipped with projecting end stacks.
The wing on the right includes a later door and overlight beneath a segmental arch, with a casement window to the right and two later nine-pane casements on the first floor. The addition on the right has two casements beneath segmental arches, flanked by doors, a small window on the first floor, and a door on the right served by external wooden steps. The right end of the roof is also hipped. The interior has not been inspected.
