Description

The Pinfold, located on the north side of the junction with High Street, is a structure likely dating from the early 19th century. It is built from coursed rubble magnesian limestone with sandstone dressings. The enclosure is D-shaped, featuring a perimeter wall that stands approximately 1 metre high, with an entrance on the south side. The structure includes sandstone gate piers, although there is no gate, and it is topped with domed copings. The Pinfold is maintained by Bawtry Town Council and serves as a walled garden with a bench seat.
