Description
Cobbler's House is a late 18th-century brick house built in Flemish bond, with a 20th-century pantile roof. The building has two storeys and features a two-bay main house on the right and three bays overall. The main entrance is a central 20th-century six-panel door with a four-pane overlight above it. The windows have flat arches, with the ground floor showcasing 16-pane sash windows that have projecting stone sills. On the first floor, there is a central side-sliding sash window and two 12-pane unequally-hung sash windows. To the left of the main house, there are double garage doors made of boards under a timber lintel, a blocked window opening on the first floor, and a 12-pane unequally-hung sash window with a flat arch. The house has stepped eaves, shaped kneelers, and ashlar coping throughout. There are brick stacks at both ends and to the left of the main house. The rear of the building has a lower eaves-line.
