Description
Wharf Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farmhouse constructed from cement-rendered brick and topped with a Welsh slate roof. The building is two storeys high and features three bays, with an outshut and a lower wing at the rear right. The central entrance consists of a glazed door with a plain overlight, all set beneath a segmental arch. On either side of the door are bow windows that have projecting sills and reeded mullions, containing tripartite sashes with configurations of 4, 12, and 4 panes. On the first floor, the outer bays have sashes with glazing bars set in flush wooden architraves and a matching central casement. The farmhouse also features dentilled eaves and rebuilt brick stacks at the ends.
