Description
Wharf House is a house from the mid to late 18th century that has been altered. It is built of red brick in Flemish bond and has a 20th-century pantile roof. The building has three storeys and three bays. The entrance features a renewed panelled double door with an overlight that has Gothick glazing bars, all beneath an altered flat brick arch. The outer bays contain unequally-hung 20-pane sash windows, also beneath flat brick arches. On the first floor, there is a brick band beneath the sashes, similar to the ground floor. The second floor has 8-pane casement windows. The gable copings are made of shaped ashlar kneelers, and the end stack on the left has been rebuilt.
