Description
This is a bridge over the River Don, constructed in the late 19th century and later restored. It is made of coursed squared stone that has a slightly rock-faced appearance. The bridge features a single-span deep segmental arch and has stone parapets with rock-faced copings. The approach to the bridge includes a tarmacadam causeway. It is located approximately 80 meters east of Number 1 Water Hall on the south side of Barnsley Road.
