Description

The Penistone Railway Viaduct, built in 1885, is a railway viaduct located on the Penistone and Denby Dale line. It is constructed from rock-faced stone and features a curved design. The structure consists of 28 round arches supported by two-stage piers, along with an additional arch over the road at the southern end. A string course runs along the base of the parapet.
