Description

Rutland Road Bridge is a road bridge that spans the River Don, built in 1854. The parapet was rebuilt following a flood in 1864. The bridge is constructed of ashlar and features three elliptical arches with voussoirs and cutwaters that have rounded ends. The parapet wall has a moulded top and a central flat-topped panelled gable. There are four corner piers with moulded caps, although one of the caps is missing.
