Description

Fenton Cottage and Nelson Villa are a pair of houses built around 1800. They are constructed of red brick, with Nelson Villa (No 15) featuring a pantile roof and Fenton Cottage (No 17) having a concrete tile roof. Both houses are two storeys high and have three first-floor windows. There are two 20th-century glazed doors set in 20th-century wooden porches. The windows are 12-pane sashes with flush wooden architraves and stone sills, and all openings are topped with stucco cambered arches. The eaves are stepped, and both houses have hipped roofs, with end stacks and an axial stack on No 17. This listing is included for its group value.
