Description
35 and 37 Bridge Street are a pair of houses built in the early 19th century. They are constructed of red brick, with No. 35 being painted. The houses feature a pantile roof with coped gable ends and brick dentil eaves. They are two storeys tall, with each house having two windows. The first floor of No. 35 has sash windows with glazing bars, while the ground floor of No. 35 and all of No. 37's windows have been replaced with 20th-century top-opening-light windows. Both houses have a central round-headed doorway with a semi-circular blind fanlight that includes tracery, and they feature 20th-century glazed doors. There are brick chimney stacks on the buildings. These houses are included for their group value.
