Description

This is a late 18th-century house and shop, located on the west side of Bridge Street in Loddon. The building is constructed of red brick, with the left-hand side painted. It has a hipped pantile roof and brick dentil eaves. The building is two storeys high. The first floor has three widely-spaced windows, which are sashes with glazing bars, although the window on the left-hand side is a modern plate glass replacement. The ground floor features a sash window with glazing bars to the right, and a doorcase to the right of centre. The doorcase has fluted pilasters, a frieze, panelled reveals, and a flush-panel door. A large, projecting shop of the 20th century is located on the left-hand side.
