Description

This is an early 18th-century house on Bridge Street in Loddon. It is constructed of red brick and is situated next to number 5. The roof is steep, covered with black glazed pantiles, and has coped gable ends. The house has two storeys and an attic, with a window in the gable end. Originally, it had four windows, though one on the left-hand side has been blocked. The ground-floor windows have cambered heads and are mullion/transom casements dating to the 20th century. A fielded panel door is on the right-hand side. A string course runs along the floor level, and there is a brick chimney stack. This building was formerly listed under the names "House occupied by William Dye" and "High Street".
