Description

Fuschia Cottage (No 11) and Regency Cottage (No 13) are possibly 18th century buildings that were refaced around 1830-1840, and they create a mirrored pair. No 15, built around the same time, features a slightly projecting cross wing to the east. Both Fuschia Cottage and Regency Cottage are two storeys tall with four windows and a central blind panel. They have a pebble dash exterior with Roman cement quoins and a slate roof that includes a central panelled chimney. The windows are casements with mullions and horizontal glazing bars, with two on the ground floor plus a blind panel. The first-floor windows are smaller, featuring raised surrounds; two of these are twin windows set under gabled dormers that have scalloped bargeboards and a central pendant. The doors have bracketed pointed hoods, with ornamental bargeboards supported by No 13.

No 15 is also two storeys with an attic, featuring one window on the south side and two on the east side. It has a slate roof with a crested ridge and a chimney on the east side that separates the first-floor windows. The exterior is made of large irregular cobbles with flint galleting, Roman cement quoins, and gable steps beneath a plain bargeboard. The windows have raised surrounds and include mullions and horizontal glazing bars, with some casements. The ground floor has a triple window under a label, a twin window on the first floor, and a small single window in the attic. The entrance is located on the east front and is similar to that of No 13.

Nos 7 to 15 (odd) and No 23, the Friends' Meeting House, form a group.
