Description

Nos 7 and 9 Church Street, dated 1700, were originally a farmhouse. The building is two storeys high and features four windows. It is constructed from squared knapped flints with red brick dressings, quoins, and a stringcourse. There is a moulded wooden eaves cornice, and the casement windows of No 7 have slightly cambered heads. The roof is tiled with kneelers on the west side, while the east gable is tile hung. Nos 7 to 15 (odd) and No 23, the Friends' Meeting House, form a group.
