Description
Nos. 19, 21, and 23 Manchester Road are former fustian cutters' cottages, built in 1792, now converted into three houses. The cottages are constructed of orange brick in an English garden wall bond and feature a Welsh slate roof with one brick chimney. The front of the building is three and four stories high and has six bays. A modern wooden cornice with dentil detailing adorns the top. The windows are 15-pane sashes set beneath flat rough brick heads. There are three six-panelled doors, each with simple 20th-century wooden architraves. The building is listed for its group value only.
