Description
The bridge over the River Bollin, built in 1834, is a road bridge featuring a later 19th-century parapet. Constructed from bossed buff sandstone, it has a single near semi-circular arch. Above the arch, there is a projecting course with the date inscribed on the keystone, along with a projecting band at road level and a plain parapet. The structure concludes with square pilasters that have curving revetment walls extending down to ground level, topped with a flat coping.
