Description
The former font in St. Bartholomew's Churchyard is a late Medieval structure that has been restored and relocated to its current position in the 19th century. It is made of buff sandstone and features an octagonal chamfered base that supports a squat plain column. The column has an octagonal head with a hollowed band around its base. At the top, there is a truncated concave bowl cut into the stone. This font is listed for its group value only.
