Description

The sundial in St. Bartholomew's Churchyard dates from the late 17th century and is made of buff sandstone ashlar. It features two circular stone steps that support an octagonal baluster with a bulbous base. Below the heavy cap, which projects outward, is a band that holds a circular copper sundial plate, although this plate is becoming worn. The original gnomon is missing.
