Description
Fenton Cottage and the adjacent cottage at Old Park Farm are a pair of cottages dating from the 18th century, with minor alterations made in the 20th century. They are constructed from coursed limestone rubble with ashlar quoins and feature a pantile roof, along with a pair of red brick gable stacks and a ridge stack. The cottages are two storeys high and have a four-bay front, with the right-hand bay being a slightly later addition. The entrance is an off-centre half-glazed door, with a two-light casement window with glazing bars to the left and two sliding sash windows with glazing bars to the right. On the first floor, there are four sliding sash windows with glazing bars. All openings are topped with timber lintels. At the rear, there is a 19th-century lean-to that has been overbuilt in the 20th century.
