Description
Stoke Grange Farmhouse is a farmhouse built in the late 18th century, with 19th-century additions and alterations. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble, featuring ashlar quoins and dressings, and has slate roofs with stone coped gables and kneelers. The building has three stone stacks topped with decorative octagonal pots. The layout is a parallel range plan, with the rear range being a 19th-century addition.
The farmhouse is two stories high, plus a garret, and has a four-bay front. The entrance is off-centre, featuring a half-glazed door and overlight, which is sheltered by a 20th-century open timber porch with a flat lead roof. To the left of the door is a single window, and to the right, there is a pair of margin lights. On the first floor, there are four similar windows. All openings are topped with segmental stone lintels.
