Description
Old School is a former school building, now a house, constructed in 1878 with 20th-century alterations. It is made of coursed limestone rubble, featuring ashlar quoins and dressings, and has a slate roof adorned with decorative bargeboards and a single ashlar ridge stack. The building has an L-shaped plan. There is an off-centre blocked doorway, and to the left, a canted bay window with a shaped roof and three-light windows that have traceried heads. Above the bay window is a shield displaying the date 1878. To the right, there is a single casement window and two three-light casements, all with shallow pointed heads and traceried lights.
