Description

No. 3 Dock Office Row is a house that has been converted into disused offices. It was built around 1800 and has undergone alterations in the late 19th and late 20th centuries. The building is constructed of brick with a painted left return and features ashlar dressings. It has gabled and hipped slate roofs and a side wall stack. The eaves cornice is moulded and has been renewed in wood at the front, while there is a single coped gable at the rear.

The structure consists of three storeys and has a four-window range. On the left side, three windows are boarded up, while the right side has one window that has been reglazed. Above these, there are four smaller top-hung casements, all of which have brick flat arches. The central doorcase is wooden and features enriched plasterwork and a pediment, leading to a round-arched panelled opening with a 20th-century door and a blank fanlight.

To the right, there is a late 19th-century wooden shop front with pilasters and round-topped brackets supporting a wooden cornice. This opening has been blocked, and a smaller window has been inserted, which is now boarded up. On the left, there are remains of a similar shop front, also with a boarded-up window.
