Description
No. 133 Long Street is a house that has been converted into offices, located at the end of a row. It dates from the late 18th century to early 19th century, with some early to mid-19th century additions at the rear. The building is constructed of Flemish bond brick and features a moulded rendered cornice. It has an old plain-tile roof and brick stacks at the ends. The structure is L-shaped, with a long wing extending to the right at the rear.
The building stands three storeys tall and has a three-window range. The front is almost symmetrical and includes a rendered doorcase with pilasters that have fluted capitals and paterae, an open pediment, and a fanlight. The original doors have been replaced with late 20th-century glazed doors. The shop windows and doorcase at the front are also from the late 20th century and have a rendered surround. A sill course is present on the first floor, while the upper floors feature sash windows: a 16-pane window to the right and a 6-pane window on the second floor, both with rusticated rendered flat arches and keyblocks. The interior has been altered on the ground floor.
