Description
No. 108 Long Street is a shop and dwelling built in the early 19th century, with a back range that may be slightly older. The building features scored stucco with a plain cornice and has an old plain-tile roof topped with a brick ridge stack. It is arranged in an L-shape, with a long wing extending to the rear. The structure has three storeys and a two-window range. There is an arched entrance to a passageway on the left side. The late 19th-century wooden shop front includes pilaster strips and a fascia, with a 20th-century glazed door, overlight, and a two-light window. To the right is a 20th-century window. The sashes have 16 panes on the first floor and 8 panes on the second floor. The rear wing is made of brick and features a dentil cornice, also with three storeys and a two-window range. The first floor of the rear wing has a 25-pane sash window. The interior has not been inspected.
