Description

No. 25 is a house that has been converted into a bar, with attached railings. It was built in 1790 and underwent alterations in the mid-19th century and around 1990. The building is constructed of brick with a painted basement and features ashlar dressings, topped with a slate roof that has a single ridge stack.

Architecturally, it has a ground-floor sill band, a first-floor band, and dentillated wooden eaves, along with a single coped gable. The structure consists of three storeys plus a basement and has a two-window range. The windows are adorned with multi keystone lintels, featuring two plain sashes on the ground floor and two 6-pane sashes above. The ground floor also includes two plain sashes with sunblinds, and to the right, there is a wooden doorcase supported by engaged Doric columns, topped with a dentillated pediment. This doorcase frames a fielded six-panel door and a fanlight. The basement has two 20th-century windows.

Outside, there is a plain wrought-iron railing enclosing the area and steps leading down.
