Description

The Pearson Memorial, located approximately 250 metres west of the eastern entrance to Pearson Park in Kingston upon Hull, was constructed in 1897 by WD Keyworth Jnr. It commemorates Zachariah Pearson, who donated the land for the park. The memorial features an unworked column made of natural rock, with an oval marble portrait medallion and an inscription on the east side.
