Description

The Boer War Memorial, located in Paragon Square, Kingston upon Hull, is a war memorial created by Leeds Marble Works and was unveiled in November 1904. It features a battered square granite pedestal with bronze memorial tablets on three sides and a coved plinth. Atop the pedestal are two larger than life-size figures of soldiers in action, mounted on a rock base, each equipped with bronze rifles.
