Description

This gravestone, dated 1721, is located about 240 metres south-west of Manor Farmhouse. It is a recumbent stone slab measuring approximately 1.5 metres by 0.75 metres. The inscription commemorates a suicide, Henry Jarrett, who was refused burial in consecrated ground. The inscription reads: "Here lies y body of Henry Jarrett who departed this life on Janary the 14th 1721 Aged 94."
