Description
Manor Farmhouse is an early 19th-century house situated on Newsham Hill Lane in Bempton. The building is constructed of coursed chalk rubble, rendered and finished with a pantiled roof and brick stacks. It presents a symmetrical front with two storeys and attics, arranged over three bays. A 20th-century door is set within a wooden architrave, now largely concealed by a 20th-century conservatory porch. The windows are 16-pane sashes. The house has end stacks and gables with plain close verges. The interior has not been inspected, but the steep roofline and proportions of the house suggest that the present elevations refront an earlier building.
