Description
This is an 18th-century house, substantially altered in the 19th century. It is constructed of coursed chalk rubble, rendered and with stone dressings, and has a pantiled roof with brick stacks. The house has stone quoins and two storeys with three windows, plus a later outshut at the rear. The main entrance is a four-panel door with an oblong fanlight, situated to the left of centre, and is set within a doorcase featuring pilasters with roundels and Moorish-style ornament to the capitals, topped by brackets supporting a moulded cornice. The building has a stepped eaves cornice, end and axial stacks, and raised gables with kneelers.
